ABOUT THE EVENT /

During the international Riga Aviation Forum 2018 (RAF 2018), Latvian aviation stakeholders signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Transport. As result of this cooperation extended look on aviation strategy priorities in Latvia will be presented by the aviation Think-tank.

New challenges are always on the horizon. The question is – will aviation face infinite growth? How will the infrastructure developers respond to the actual growth and are European policies ready for future congestions at airports and airspace? Does EU state aid regulation in aviation will guide us to continues capacity constrains?

Passenger transportation with drones and electrically driven airframes are just around the corner, and it will facilitate a new multi-billion business. Airspace management and new regulation need to be presented without delays effectively support new technologies in aviation.
